How to promote rabbit pelage growing longer in winter

First, keep more female rabbits. Because the female rabbits not only have 30% more quantity production than the male rabbits, but have better quality pelage than the male rabbits.

Secondly, bath the rabbit with special liquid medicine. It not only promote the rabbit hair growth, but also improve the pelage quality and disease resistance ability. The liquid medicine formula: dissolve trichlorfon powder 150 ~ 200g in water 50 kg to make 0.3% ~ 0.5% trichlorfon solution, then add sulfur powder 150 grams, stirring. It’s ready for rabbits bath.

Third, scientific feeding methods promote rabbit’s pelage growth. Feedings mainly keep the green feed ingredients that contain vitamin, such as milk vetch, carrot and gramineae grass, etc., to meet rabbits nutrients requirements in rabbit pelage growth. In addition, rabbit pelage contains sulfur 4.2% that’s highly than the average sulfur content. Adding zinc sulphate in feeds can simultaneously increase the sulfur and zinc two elements that directly involves in the combination of auxin and protein in animal body and promotes its growth.
