Water hardness, is refers to the amount of soluble mineral content in water, mainly as carbonate and magnesium sulfate and magnesium salt. Does water hardness in your family exceed the normal?

There are 6 levels for water Hardness: 0 ~ 0.5 GPG for soft water, 0.5 ~ 3.5 GPG for slight hardness, 3.5 ~ 7.0 GPG to medium hardness, 7 ~ 10.5 GPG to hard water, 10.5 ~ 14.0 GPG for very hard, 14.0 GPG above is top hard. The residents water hardness treated by waterworks is commonly 8 ~ 14 GPG.

In the daily life, the right amount of minerals capacity in water does not damage the people, but exceeds hardness would bring some influences as the bad washing effect, thick deposit in water heating pot, even effects on people’s diet and health.

Therefore, to exceed hardness water, we generally take water softening treatment to reduce the amount of calcium salt, magnesium sulfate and magnesium salt in water.
